Yes. I am currently in network with Aetna, Anthem/Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, and Community Health Options.
I am unable to accept Medicare or Mainecare/Medicaid plans.
If I do not accept your health insurance, I have self-pay options available, with a sliding scale option for those on a fixed income.
I am also happy to provide a super bill if you would like to submit directly to your health insurance plan for possible reimbursement.
Some people may be able to use HSA/FSA funds for dietitian services as well. Check with your plan.

Our initial session is 60 minutes where we get in depth together. We will cover your past medical history, available labwork, current medications and supplements, weight history, current eating and exercise habits, any emotional relationship with food, and your future goals. By the end, we will have an individualized and realistic plan in place to work towards your goals.
All my counseling is collaborative and personalized. I am here to provide feedback, support, guidance, and education based on my years of clinical experience and formal education. However, you are the best expert on yourself. I support my clients in self-autonomy and you knowing what will work best for you.

I do my very best to verify and bill insurance benefits as accurately as possible, however, if insurance denies the claim, you are responsible for my self-pay rate. You are also responsible for any co-pays, co-insurance, remaining deductible, etc at time of service.
I also require a credit card on file for all clients for a 24 hour late cancellation or no-show fee.
I will never run or charge your credit card without your knowledge.
-
Totally understandable, life happens. Please give me a 24 hour notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Late cancellations or no-shows will be charged a $50 late fee.

Most people see me for at least 3 sessions - an initial visit plus two follow ups - over 2 to 3 months.
Some people just need an initial visit. Other people work with me for longer. There’s no set schedule or mandatory minimum.
